I just recently found out about this ladies' kayak project via a subscription e-mail from Anna Levesque and her Girls at Play workshop. I seriously believe that if this project had been given a little more word of mouth spread to some of the bigger female names out there on the water .... Heather Herbeck, Emily Jackson, Christie Glissmeyer, Tanya Shuman to name just a few, as well as some of the better and lesser known kayak brands ... Drago Rossi, Big Dog, Liquidlogic, Jackson, Wavesport, Pyranha, etc., that this project would be well on its way to being funded completely and then some. I know I would have been going on Facebook and posting this link every week just as a reminder to the women out there to find a way to get this thing funded! About time women's centers of gravity issues be dealt with in a sport/past time which is so integral to balance and musculo-skeleton make up of one's presence on the water in their boat.
